FAQs

How much are lessons?

£40 per hour either online or in person. Younger pupils may only need 30 minutes.

Do you teach beginners?

Yes! I teach people of all levels and most styles.

Do you do visiting lessons?

I don’t do private visiting lessons but I do visit schools, colleges and other musical institutions to do a masterclass.

Can you re-string my guitar?

Yes of course, and quite quickly too.

I can also advise on all sorts of technical and equipment based issues/questions.

Lesson Bits & Pieces

Here is an example of a song (Midnight Hour) that I use to teach the student where the basic E shape bar chord names are and to move them up and down the neck.

Moving on something along the lines of Under The Bridge introduces 1/2 barred chords and A shape bar chords

Something more advanced including slash chords (not the dude from Guns and Roses.

Any song of your choice can be learnt and charted out in a way that suits you best
